Our Story
Our story began in pre-independence India when Mr. C. Golchha migrated from Rajasthan to Calcutta and found a job with a textile trader. Five years later in 1948, he started his wholesale firm engaged in selling Melton & Panama from Castle Mills and White Satin from Manchester.
In 1968, his grandson Mr. Rajkumar Golchha started a men’s retail store with bespoke tailoring. The business grew steadily, and his brother Mr. Sushil Golchha joined him in 1972.
In 1995, the fourth generation started the first garment manufacturing plant in Bangalore. Over the years, modern manufacturing techniques were adopted, and in 2002, the company started supplying to retail brands and wholesalers across the US and Europe, beside the local market.
