Utility Conservation

  • Prohibition of usage of firewood as a fuel in boilers in all Silver Crest units.

  • All boiler houses have been upgraded to use Argo Waste Briquettes as a fuel instead of wood

  • We have reduced our fuel consumption in boilers by 50 % over the last one year

 

Water Conservation

  • All factories have Sewage Treatment Plants which are currently being completed automated using PLC controllers and level controls

  • We recycle 100% of our gray water and the same is used for flushing and gardening

  • We have capability to store, recycle and recharge Seven Million liters of rainwater through our Rainwater Harvesting system

 

Waste Management

  • Industrial Wastewater, Domestic Sewage, Storm Water, and Bio-Solids Management: 100% recycling of all water used in the factory with daily monitoring of consumption

  • Solid Waste Management: Solid waste is measured and recycled

  • Air Emissions: To ensure Air emissions are within limits, all chimneys are tested for emission quality every six months
